Hosting nearly 20 million guests each year, Magic Kingdom Park ranks among the most-visited theme parks in the world. Part of the world's biggest amusement park, which covers a vast area twice as large as Manhattan, this theme park is dedicated to fairy tales and Disney characters. The park's centerpiece is a replica of a fairy-tale castle from the 1950s' film "Cinderella." Six magical lands surround the castle, featuring boat and roller coaster rides, games, jungle cruises, train adventures, shooting arcades, and stage shows. Explore the themed lands of this wheel-shaped venue using Cinderella's castle as your hub. A narrow-gauge railroad runs along the park's perimeter and provides an excellent overview of the park before you start exploring. Pros: the place was cool and the people were very friendly (except at the haunted mansion, as it should be :-). It is still magical. The crowds were not shoulder to shoulder, and I suspect that has to do with the limiting using reservations. Cons: While the ferry, monorail and sky lifts are working, Disney hasn't seen fit to start back up the trams. This has a 1000 step detriment to our feet impact and put my wife on a cane the second day in the park. I can see no reason for not running the trams from a policy perspective, so it is likely either a staffing issue or an attempt to get more profit from the $25 cost in parking. They should either reduce their parking fee, build closer parking (a garage), or get the trams running again. The indoor masking protocol was appreciated. And while a Disney staff member was watching and calling people out on their improper lack of masking, nearly 100% of folks complied. However, at several bathrooms where no Disney staff was present at the entry, the men wore their makes indoors at about a 30% rate. This made me have to hold it one day for several hours as it was true at every bathroom I came across in the park. I finally went once I left the park. Both of those issues left me with a sour taste in my mouth. It may be the most magical place on earth, but the magic is wearing thin, and it's not a good sign for the rest of the earth.

A great place to visit with kids between 2 and 11 years of age. It's part of Disney world. Kids under two are free. Lots to do for families. The Theme rides, and shows are entertaining. It was very crowded in some areas. I would recommend getting lightning passes for some of the more popular rides as the waits can be long. We waited 70 minutes for The Pirates of the Caribbean theme ride. But no wait for Splash Mountain with the lightning pass, and a very short wait for the Jungle Cruise. Best fireworks show I have ever seen. I probably wouldn't visit the Magic Kingdom without kids. Maybe one of the other parks within Disney World. Tickets are pricey starting at $109.00 per person
