  • Really informative and covered such a variety about IOM. From history of "ownership ", loads of relics, birds and animals. Has a special area just for kids and goofy (haha) adults with quirky and fun things to do...my only quirp with kids section is they had "viking" hats with horns. Unless I missed the info explaining that vikings never wore them, I don't think they are appropriate in a place of learning. Nice gift shop with a variety of items at a variety of pricemarks. Definitely stop in for a browse.
  • I love the Manx Museum and am so glad it continues to delight. There have been some significant changes since I last visited in 2007 with plenty of new exhibitions and more coming. I am sad some of my childhood favourites have gone but I guess everything changes and moves on.
