Home to perhaps the most impressive of Mexico's archaeological sites, San Juan Teotihuacan provides easy access to the World Heritage-listed "City of Gods," the largest pre-Columbian urban center in the Americas.
Start off your visit on the 8th (Thu): soar above the sights with a balloon tour, explore the ancient world of Palacio de Tepantitla, and then delve into the distant past at Zona Arqueológica de Teotihuacan Estacionamiento Puerta 5. On the next day, see the interesting displays at Archivo Historico y Museo de Mineria, A. C., appreciate the history behind Reloj Monumental de Pachuca, and then make a trip to Real del monte.
