When in Mexico City, make a side trip to see Zona Arqueológica de Teotihuacan Estacionamiento Puerta 5 in San Juan Teotihuacan, approximately San Juan Teotihuacan away. If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Licenciado Benito Juarez International Airport, Querétaro Intercontinental Airport and Santa Lucía Air Force Base / Felipe Angeles International Airport. In June, plan for daily highs up to 76°F, and evening lows to 57°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 19th (Sat) to allow enough time to fly to Oaxaca.

Oaxaca — 4 nights

Capital city of the eponymous state, Oaxaca relies heavily on its colonial charm, its core a maze of tree-shaded alleys flanked by photogenic mansions, government buildings, and old churches.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Templo de Santo Domingo de Guzman and Zona Arqueologica de Monte Alban. There's still lots to do: hike along Coyote Aventuras, don't miss a visit to Zocalo, examine the collection at Oaxaca Textile Museum, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Basilica de Nuestra Senora de la Soledad.

A short flight from Mexico City, scenic Huatulco features nine picture-perfect bays on the Pacific coast.
