City of Palaces
Breathtakingly large, Mexico City provides a home for almost 9 million people living in nearly 1,700 distinct neighborhoods.Zona Arqueológica de Teotihuacan Estacionamiento Puerta 5 and Chapultepec Castle will appeal to history buffs. Take a break from the city and head to Bosque de Chapultepec and Popocatepetl. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Mexico City: Puebla (Rosary Chapel (Capilla del Rosario), Zocalo, &more), Bosque Esmeralda (in Amecameca) and Robert Brady Museum (in Cuernavaca). And it doesn't end there: learn more about the world around you at Museo Nacional de Antropologia, get a sense of history and politics at National Palace, take a stroll through Historic Center (Centro Historico), and explore the world behind art at Palacio de Bellas Artes.
