Fabrica La Aurora
Visit Fabrica La Aurora, a historical textile factory housing an array of galleries, exhibitions, and shops. Peruse high-end homewares, prints of famous artworks, and exhibitions by local artists, all set among the remnants of heavy mill machinery. After walking around and taking in the vast quantity of wares, pop into one of the gourmet restaurants and cafes for a bite to eat and a rejuvenating cup of coffee. Due to the scale of this place, it's recommended that you leave a couple of hours to absorb everything, which may test the patience of some children. It couldn't be easier to arrange your visit to Fabrica La Aurora and many more San Miguel de Allende attractions: make an itinerary online using Inspirock's San Miguel de Allende vacation maker site.

We always enjoy coming here and strolling through the various studios and shops. Today we were quite disappointed in the interior cafe. The tables were by no means full but my husband ordered a beer an I ordered a chai tea. It took over 15 minutes for him to get his beer and 40 minutes later I still did not have my tea and our food order had yet to be taken. We cancelled the tea, paid for the beer and got out of there. On the plus side we went to Geek and Coffee outside and it was an excellent experience. So much so we just relaxed there all afternoon.

A huge old fabric mill. The galleries are amazing and the history of the place is preserved. There are two restaurants with delicious food, traditional Mexican food and A variety of comfort food for tourist. The shops are full of unique gifts and classes take place daily. It’s a true fusion community gathering spot.
