Create an itinerary including Parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe
An iconic gem of downtown Vallarta’s skyline, Parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe offers unrivalled serenity. The relatively new church was not officially completed until 1987 when the front side and lateral towers were finally finished, although its construction began on October 12th 1921, a date still celebrated in the church today. Enjoy a tranquil stroll through the endearing structure, its architecture a patchwork of styles displaying an eclectic mix of neoclassical design, renaissance towers and a wrought iron crown echoing European baroque design. • The church is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2022. It offers daily services in Spanish that all are welcome to attend. We were impressed by the unique crown at the top of the tower. When you visit, also go to see the gazebo and courtyard nearby. It's a great spot to sit, relax and people watch.
  • Beautiful church. We came here during the celebration of Guadalupe. We heard the bells at night all week and it was lovely. There’s a table outside where you can buy rosaries. So blessed to have had the opportunity to see this amazing church.
