Enjoy a long walk on the stretch of beach at Nuevo Vallarta Beach, and watch waves breaking against the shore. Observe birdlife, and, if the time is right, hatchling turtles as they make a break for the open ocean. Though not an ideal place for swimming or snorkeling due to its pacific waves, the beach offers a range of activities. Try your hand at parasailing, horse riding, and surfing, then chewck out the amenities in the surrounding area. • Everything about this beach is fun. Sand castles are made in front of you. Hair braiding, portraits, and so much more. Nice tiki huts for beverages.

  • The beach is nice enough, but if you want to go to the malecon it's a long 30-40 minute cab ride, and $15usd. So if you want to see the malecon, maybe stay closer to it.

  • The beach is way ample, nice sand and good that there aren't many beach sales people. Sunsets are great looking, very secluded if you wack few hundred meters south towards river Ameca, waves are not large and it's shallow so swimming in the ocean is possible. Downturn is that Vidanta keeps you "locked" in to consume only in their restaurants which are extremely expensive even compared to the US. Great place at for photoshots and family time!
  • Upon checking in all they are worried about is getting you to a sales meeting they call ‘breakfast’. They will say it’s an hour but it’s four. You can read the rest from other reviewers but if you aren’t a member it’s a nightmare. Here is the key, YOU DON’T HAVE TO GO, JUST SAY NO! They will do their best to pressure you but just say NO. The pitch is it’s an exclusive club but a quick check on VRBO and you’ll see it’s not. Anyone can stay here for about the same price as ‘usage fees’. The resort is nice but they give no information about how to get around, what pools you can use, etc…. On top of this the signage is so poor you’ll surely end up sitting where you can’t and get escorted to a different pool by ‘security’. We saw this happen to multiple families which means they need to do a better job of explaining and signing. Lastly, you are trapped and can’t get off the resort which basically makes it a cruise. Food is good and reasonably priced, but the rest is a sham. A free week here or somewhere else; I’d go somewhere else.
