This museum is worth the 2 hours I spent going thru it. Staff was exceptionally helpful. The builing is a good example of Mexican Art Deco and is an experience in itself.

For anyone who enjoys Mexican handicrafts, this place is must. It’s a small museum, but worth visiting. The gift shop is full of high quality souvenirs.: textiles, pottery, carvings, the works.

Didn't plan on coming here... but I was walking by and saw the eye-catching colours in the foyer. On a whim, I decided to check it out. It was so much better than I expected!!! Entry is cheap, free bag check, and not very many people. The art is all exceptional and the lighting/environment is perfect to showcase each piece. A great journey through Mexican history and culture via folk art. It took me just over 1 hour on my own, but definitely could spend more time if you really want to take everything in. Also, a very kind employee told me to keep my hoodie with me and I am glad they did because it is chilly inside. :)

I wish I could award even more stars to this stunning museum! To be honest, I was expecting to walk through and have seen what I wished to see in 15-30 minutes. As it was, we spent almost two hours in this remarkable museum. The building itself is remarkable for its clean, yet somehow innovative design which renders its exhibits all the more interesting. As to the exhibits? I believe pictures are worth thousands of words, yet the minimalist bit informative informational plaques were also well worth perusing. A real fine. I’m surprised the overall rating is t closer to the perfect five ⭐️ stars I have awarded it.
