This is a beautiful monument. This is a must-visit. A lot of tourists and locals come here to take plenty of pictures. This is a great place for the entire family 👪 to visit. There is a lot of history here to educate the children on.

Every capital seems to boast a column of some kind and Mexico is no different. This particular column is the home of the Angel of Independence. A statue of a winged female that has historical significance of some note to the locals but is of negligible artistic value to a foreigner. Surrounded by skyscrapers and a whole lot of cars the angel of independence is a nice sight but one that can essentially be skipped unless you are running out of things to see and do. Good for a few pictures only, really...
