  • This is a narrow park along a flowing stream (year round) fed by waterfalls. The entire park has the sound of running water which is very relaxing. It is quite different from other Mexican city...

  • The place is very big, green and spacious. On certain days they put on tianguis that sell local and organic products. Inside the park you will find a couple of animals in captivity (:c),children's games, food stalls and a couple more attractions. It also has a running circuit,a lake and a lot of diversity. Go for a walk, it is a green lung in the city of Cuernavaca
  • First-time ever in this park. Quite good land use of what would've otherwise most likely become a dump--just as it is the case of all "barrancas" found in urban settings throughout Mexico. The weekend i attended there were even food vendors of organic products and locally-grown produce! Because of the brook that runs through the barranca, there are plenty of trees that create lots of nicely shaded areas. A tropical forest-like feel right in between the urban development that flanks the park on both sides of the barranca.
