Escape the tourist crowds by visiting Playa Delfines, one of Cancun's few uncrowded beaches. With slightly rougher sand and choppier water than some of the other spots nearby, this stretch of coastline compensates for a lack of modern amenities with fine views and a peaceful atmosphere. Ideal for those tired of throngs of vacationers, this little getaway also offers public parking--another rare plus. All that said, you do need to be mindful of riptides and heavy currents if you decide to swim here, so check the signs for the current conditions. Beautiful beach, the buses are frequently stopping here so reaching this beach is no problem! There is a great Cancun statue here where all the tourists line up to take a photo with, if you are interested in it make sure to arrive in the morning unless you want to wait in line foe about 30-40 minutes. There are toilets which cost 5 pesos and you can take a shower as well, although at the time of my writing the showers did not work. Beach has many umbrellas and life guards, it is very well kept and cleaned frequently.

This is a beautiful and picturesque location. I recommend coming early in the morning to beat the crowds. If you keep an eye out for iguanas, you will notice them all over. The Cancun sign is here and quickly gathers a line of tourists looking for photo opportunities.
