    Cocalitos was a fun stop near Bacalar. The water was great temperature and shallow enough to enjoy if visiting with little ones. Wish there were more swings and hammocks for guests to enjoy!

    Amazing spot for a swim although gets a little crowded as many locals seem to come here as well. The water is beautiful and the entrance fee is very reasonable (50 pesos per person)

    Not enough shaded areas, but I guess that impression depends on the individual. Otherwise very nice, and therefore busy but not overly so. You pay a small entry fee ($60) and get to spend as much time as your want and are free to use the available infrastructure. Restaurant and bar available.

    Very beautiful place, probably one of the best to visit lake bacar. Entry was pretty cheap and they had nice facilities for changing and swimming. The water in the lake is pretty warm, and the bottom consist of stone and sand, not the full white sandy beach experience, but something along the way.
