Spanning 121 sq km (47 sq mi), this is the largest wetland bird sanctuary in Gujarat and one of the largest in India, providing temporary home for migratory birds. These marshes house rosy pelicans, flamingos, green bee-eaters, white storks, ruddy shelducks, and herons. See lotus flowers and other lush water vegetation sheltering egrets, cormorants, darters, moorhens, coots, and grebes. Lovely place to visit with family, go early morning. Boating is fun and must have. Bargain as much as you can. Usually it is 2000 to 3000 for full boat and 2 hours tour. View is amazing. No food shops nearby, washrooms are pathetic, no drinking water. Please bring your own food and water.

Nalsarovar Bird sanctuary is one of the famous bird sanctuary in India.The best season of this sanctuary is winter and best time for visit this sanctuary is early morning @6'o clock.in this time you can see flemingo bird (surkhab) lot of 2500/4000 together.it is unbelievable seen for all visitors.entery fees of this sanctuary is 100rs/person and boating charge is extra. boating charge start from 1500 rs to 15000rs. If you want to boating in this sanctuary please bargaining. No food/no drinking water available is there. I request to people please bring your personal food and drinking water. Toilet facilities are available in sanctuary.maximam 6 different place in sarovar.as per place you can bargaining with them.i think government involvement is must require for boating rate.no fix rate available.people are must bargaining for visit in sarovar for boating.othervise local people full to you.
