Create an itinerary including Upper Town (Gornji Grad)
Visit Upper Town (Gornji Grad) to explore some of the capital city's most interesting restaurants, bars, and unique sites, such as the Museum of Broken Relationships. Start in the central square and walk the network of narrow streets uphill to Kaptol. Move east to Gradec and Tkalciceva, the city's most colorful pedestrian street. Relax and people-watch in one of the many bohemian cafes. Head to the museum to learn about the town's history. See sculptures, drawings, and lithographs from one of the most famous Croatian artists at Mestrovic Studio. Notice the multi-colored tile roof, constructed in 1880, on the 13th-century St Mark's church. Before you take the funicular down to the lower town, be sure to stop at Lotrscak Tower. • Nice place, but there is not too much to see. City view looks nice, but for my opinion that is all what you can get from this place. Park is average, walking is enjoyable but bring one bottle of wather with you because is hard to find Amy shop or place where you can fill it up.
  • Nice view over the old town.
