A private nature reserve just south of San Vito, Finca Cantaros encompasses over 6.5 hectares (17 acres) of pristine landscape that includes a lush forest, a wetland, tropical gardens, and scenic trails offering views of the Talamanca Mountains. Many people come here to walk and bird-watch, as the area shelters over 200 registered bird species. The reserve features restrooms, an open-air pavilion, picnic shelters, camping sites, and a space for one RV. The property is open to the public (entrance fee applies) and available for special events. To rent the reserve for a private occasion, call or e-mail well in advance. A very nice place with beautiful park settings. Nice inexpensive covered park seating. Rental space for picnicking. Nice gift shop. Great prices !
