Create an itinerary including Long Beach
The longest and widest beach in Pacific Rim National Park, Long Beach stretches for over 16 km (10 mi). You can spend hours exploring the beach, which is known for the amount of driftwood, seashells, crabs, and starfish that washes up on shore. Watch surfers ride the waves, go surfing yourself, or if the tide is low, swim. When the tide is high, exploring the beach can be dangerous as the logs on the beach can be swept into the ocean. • Less interesting than the other area beaches, but it is LONG, so there is plenty of elbow room. Use the parking lot before Incinerator Rock, way more parking and better facilities.
