City of Palaces

Breathtakingly large, Mexico City provides a home for almost 9 million people living in nearly 1,700 distinct neighborhoods.
Visiting Bosque de Chapultepec and Bosque de San Juan de Aragon will get you outdoors. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Zona Arqueológica de Teotihuacan Estacionamiento Puerta 5 and Museo del Templo Mayor. Get out of town with these interesting Mexico City side-trips: Cuernavaca (Archaeological Zone of Xochicalco & Robert Brady Museum). There's still lots to do: browse the exhibits of Museo Frida Kahlo, get a sense of history and politics at National Palace (Palacio Nacional), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica de Santa Maria de Guadalupe, and get a new perspective on nature at Museo Nacional de Antropologia.
