City of Palaces

Breathtakingly large, Mexico City provides a home for almost 9 million people living in nearly 1,700 distinct neighborhoods.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Murales de Diego Rivera en la Secretaria de Educacion Publica and Walking tours. Step off the beaten path and head to Monumento y Museo de la Revolucion and Cathedral of the Asencion (Catedral de la Asuncion). Get out of town with these interesting Mexico City side-trips: Piramide de la Serpiente Emplumada (in San Juan Teotihuacan) and Cuernavaca (River Rafting & Tubing, Parroquia de San Jose El Calvario, &more). There's still lots to do: learn the secrets of beer at a beer tour and tasting, admire the masterpieces at Antiguo Colegio de San Ildefonso, admire the striking features of House of Tiles (Casa de los Azulejos), and stop by San Angel.
