City of Palaces

Breathtakingly large, Mexico City provides a home for almost 9 million people living in nearly 1,700 distinct neighborhoods.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Zona Arqueológica de Teotihuacan Estacionamiento Puerta 5 and Historic Center (Centro Historico). Museum-lovers will get to explore Museo Nacional de Antropologia and Museo Frida Kahlo. When in Mexico City, make a side trip to see Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Pilar in Todos Santos, approximately Todos Santos away. There's still lots to do: delve into the lush surroundings at Bosque de Chapultepec, explore the world behind art at Palacio de Bellas Artes, see the world from above with a helicopter tour, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Metropolitan Cathedral (Catedral Metropolitana).

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Licenciado Benito Juarez International Airport, Querétaro Intercontinental Airport and Santa Lucía Air Force Base / Felipe Angeles International Airport. In July in Mexico City, expect temperatures between 27°C during the day and 15°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel back home.
