Few destinations in Mexico dazzle visitors quite like Cancun, a modern resort town filled with glitzy hotels sitting on picturesque and well-developed Caribbean beaches.

Bacalar is the municipal seat and largest city in Bacalar Municipality (until 2011 a part of Othón P. Take a break from the city and head to Maya Chan Beach and Scuba & Snorkeling. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Zona Arqueológica de Xpuhil and Pyramid of the Masks. Go for a jaunt from Bacalar to Mahahual to see Spas about 1h 40 min away.
