On the 11th (Sat), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Parroquia de Cristo Resucitado and then relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers. Here are some ideas for day two: have unforgettable encounters with a shark diving experience.

New York City, USA to Cancun is an approximately 7- hour combination of train and flight. You can also do a combination of subway, train, and flight; or drive. Traveling from New York City in May, things will get somewhat warmer in Cancun: highs are around 86°F and lows about 75°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 13th (Mon) so you can go by car to Isla Mujeres.

You can do a combination of ferry and bus from Isla Mujeres to Bacalar in 6 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and car. When traveling from Isla Mujeres in May, plan for a bit warmer days in Bacalar, with highs around 93°F, while nights are about the same with lows around 77°F. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 17th (Fri) to allow time for the bus ride to Tulum.
