Luxor is known for historic sites, museums, and shopping. Plan an Aswan holiday and treat yourself to ancient wonders of the past along the Nile River.
Take a break from Aswan with a short trip to Temple of Kom Ombo in Kom Ombo, about 1h 5 min away. There's much more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Philae Temple, head off the coast to Elephantine Island, steep yourself in history at Nubian Village, and make a trip to Aswan Sculpture Park.
