Luxor is known for historic sites, museums, and shopping. Your plan includes some of its best attractions: explore the ancient world of Temple of Karnak, stroll the grounds of Valley of the Kings, take an in-depth tour of Luxor Museum, and examine the collection at Le Scarabe Papyrus Museum.

Cairo to Luxor is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. When traveling from Cairo in February, plan for a bit warmer days in Luxor, with highs around 30°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 11°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 14th (Sun) to allow time to take a bus to Hurghada.

Traveling by bus from Luxor to Hurghada takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive. In February, plan for daily highs up to 30°C, and evening lows to 15°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 20th (Sat) to allow time to travel back home.
