Part of Serengeti National Park, Naabi Hill, offers some of the best vantage points of the vast short grasslands of the Serengeti. Covered with acacia tortilis trees, the hill provides home for antelope, elephants, and giraffes, and is also breeding grounds for cheetahs. Take a self-guided trail up to the top for great views and you may see vervet monkeys, ostriches, zebras and maybe lions. From Decembe to April, the site is the epicenter of the gnu migration. The location serves as a popular picnicking spot.     You can see the endless plains of Serengeti from here as the rest of the national park is very flat. It is only a short climb but only do it if you are fit. We saw a snake on our way down!  more »
