Built in 1885 and restored in 2010, the imposing wooden building features a peaceful interior, made completely of Surinamese cedar wood. Inside, you can view the grave of missionary priest Peter Donders, three different-sized bells in the tower, and intricate decorations and designs in the woodwork.
