Mexico City

Breathtakingly large, Mexico City provides a home for almost 9 million people living in nearly 1,700 distinct neighborhoods.
Kick off your visit on the 27th (Mon): get to know the fascinating history of Zocalo, then don't miss a visit to Inmobiliaria Paseo de la Reforma, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Basilica de Santa Maria de Guadalupe, and finally delve into the distant past at Zona Arqueologica Teotihuacan. Keep things going the next day: examine the collection at Frida Kahlo Museum, see the interesting displays at National Museum of Anthropology (Museo Nacional de Antropologia), then admire the masterpieces at Palacio de Bellas Artes, and finally admire the landmark architecture of Metropolitan Cathedral (Catedral Metropolitana).
