  • Undoubtedly the Yucatan Peninsula is extremely rich in natural resources even unique in the world A clear example is the biosphere reserve of the Ria celestun spectacular landscapes, contact with flora and fauna that leaves us with open mouth. Without a doubt a whole show a delicacy to be in this place enjoying all those things that nature gives us but it is unfortunate how the patronage responsible for that place over the years increases the rates and improvements in the place arrive. The jetty with dozens of broken or incomplete boats giving a bad image to the place, garbage between the mangroves and zero novelty in the infrastructure I still remember the first time I allowed myself to be in this place the infrastructure totally the same.

  • On our round trip through Mexico we make a day stop at the Celestun Wildlife Refuge. Small excursion boats for 6 people can be rented right at the bridge. The messengers take us in a 20 minute drive to the family colonies. The boat driver keeps a respectful distance from the animals so as not to worry them. Now you can take photos and observations of the thousands of flamingos. a very impressed experience to see such a mass of animals in the Wild.
