For a different take on the conventional diving experience, visit Two Eyes Cenote, a flooded system of caverns just north of Tulum. One of the world's most extravagant dive sites, this is also one of Mexico's biggest underwater cave systems, featuring almost 30 sinkhole entrances (cenotes, as the locals call them). The caves stretch for over 80 km (50 mi), but most divers focus on two sinkholes approximately 70 m (230 ft) in diameter, linked by a 400 m (1,300 ft) passage. There's plenty of light here and the water temperature remains a constant 25 C (77 F), which makes this spot ideal for snorkeling and learning how to scuba dive. Two Eyes Cenote Reviews
Habe mich im Vorfeld informiert. Diese Cenote war sehr schön. Vor allem war das Wasser sehr Sauber. Das war bei vielen anderen Cenoten nicht der Fall. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen. more »I informed me in advance. This cenote was very nice. Above all, the water was very clean. This was not the case with many other cenotes. We would come back immediately.
This was probably the best tour guide on the planet! We had so much fun and really felt the passion from put tour guide. There are several different cenotes and all are different. Definetly a must see... more »
Definitely one of the best and biggest (discovered and public) cenotes around.. Try to go early in the morning to catch light curtains in the water and avoid crowd. 2nd eye is better than the 1st one in my opinion.
Beautiful cenote, clean water, ecological facilities. There weren’t many tourists when I went which was a huge plus.
