#3 of 35 in Museums in Yucatan
Cave · Hidden Gem · Specialty Museum
Dive into Cenote Hubiku and swim in waters beneath the earth's surface. A Mayan village surrounds this large cenote, which you may first explore before taking a dip. Consider renting life jackets and towels in the village if you need them. Be prepared, as the water stays cold. After your experience, you can find a buffet lunch adjacent to the cenote; tequila is made next to the cenote as well. To visit Cenote Hubiku on your trip to Temozon, use our Temozon trip planner.

  • It was an impressive experience to be in such a beautiful place. The workers there were nice, helpful, and social. I suggest you try the chocolate tequila, it was amazing.
  • Loved the tequila tasting! Wish I could have spent all day swimming in the sinkhole. It was so beautiful to swim inside a cave. We had so much fun.
