Having received exceptional service during our Open Water qualification in Honduras, we expected the same kind of service. To our surprise, it was quite the opposite. We do not recommend this place at all. The welcome is minimal, unsympathetic. It feels like you're disturbing the staff when you ask questions. Some of the reception instructors were impatient when trying to find out; We had to chase after the instructors to help us complete our yard and the necessary information (learning the advance court, information from the dive book and to receive the qualification); The equipment is dilapidated and smells bad; There are changes in instructors and dive sites that change every day. The explanations before going under water are minimal; Safety on board is execrable. The instructors give few instructions and we feel left to our own devices; Underwater learning is minimal; The owners seem to prioritize the quantity of divers at the expense of the qualifications and the reasons for diving of the divers; Finally, the beach is filled with algae. We have to bring our equipment with us and go through the seaweed to get to the boat. The smell and passing through this thick layer of seaweed makes us nauseous when we get to the boat. We bitterly regret the quality of the service, the facilities, the reception and the money spent there.

We found phocea's organization in the club to be poor. To explain the situation, my partner set out to spend her open water (590 euros) via Phocea. This certification requires 3 days and has 4 dives in total. THE PLANNING A ETE FIXE BY PHOCEA at the beginning of the stay and was approved directly from our side. My companion had some fears, it had been agreed to descend gradually with each dive so as to do this smoothly. From the first day, we are told a change of schedule for the 2nd day which we accept. On the second day of diving, my partner was assigned a person who was doing a discovery dive with the consequence that instead of diving at 9m as agreed, my partner did the same dive as the first day but with a comrade-in-arms who panicked and had to be calmed down. Result of the races: my partner was not able to dive to the desired depth and saw her dive somewhat shortened given the fact that she had to manage her companion for a day. For my part, I do not think it is correct that we do this to a client who spends almost 600 euros to pass a certification especially when we see how things went then ... Indeed, after this 2nd dive that left a bitter taste to my partner, we are asked for a second change of schedule to ensure that my partner ends up with several people instead of having a solo dive with the teacher. Considering that we had an excursion the next day and that the last day of diving counted 2 (my partner was already exhausted after a day involving a dive) and given the moderately pleasant experience of the second dive, we asked to respect the original schedule of what we were told yes. On D-Day, my companion crosses the whole village with her equipment and shows up at the other end at 8:30 a.m. as requested (wanting to be in good conditions, she had been sleeping early the day before and had refrained from partying). Arriving there, the teacher announces that the dive will not take place following a breakdown of the boat and that it is repor...
