  • It is easy to get to the zoo using the metro system - getting off at station Bosque de Aragon and walking though the park. (unfortunately there is no signage to the zoo through the park - but google m...  more »
  • Reading The opinions of several users, I went with little additional expectations to take my nephew to see certain animals. We Went on a day Saturday afternoon and thought there was going to be a lot of people like in the Chapultepec Zoo, however it was almost empty, very few people and you manage to enjoy the animals. Apart we were fortunate that the animals were very active (they were not hidden or asleep, quite the opposite) there are Not many species but the ones that are enjoyed. The Herpetarium is fully recommended and only 30 pesos (carry cash as they do not accept cards). You Can Enter with food and unlike the Chapultepec zoo, inside there is where to buy ice cream, snacks, sodas, etc. The site was very clean and very careful, there are still many parts in remodeling, but the ones you can visit are very nice. The animal habitats seemed excellent and very spacious, very well cared for. I repeat we were lucky with the animals until most of the peacocks had the plumage open. The water of the hippos very clean (to be hippos). We Had a great day in a zoo, I enjoy the zoologicos and I loved it. We Didn't want to leave because the animals were very active. I Have visited many zoologicos in several cities (Houston, The Bronx, etc) and although this does not have so many species, we had a great.

  • It's a public zoo, and the entrance is free on Sundays. The best part is the snake and spider's exhibition. They charge about MX$40 for that. You can buy snacks and drinks inside the zoo. A big section of the park is under renovation, but it's nice to see what's open.
  • It is a good place to go with your family. Bring your own water because is very expensive inside the zoo.
