With more than 288 exhibits divided into five categories, Papalote Museo del Nino hosts an educational zone for children to touch, play, and learn. Built in 1993, the museum educates children by having them interact with the exhibits available. Through the five different categories, children learn about sciences, math, and health, and how all things relate to them. Take time to watch one of the shows or IMAX educational videos that the museum offers. You'll find various options for lunch or dinner at the in-house food court. This is a great place to visit. It’s a large well designed museum with lots of interactive displays and activities that kids of all ages will enjoy. The museum does a great job separating the spaces to ensure they are age appropriate. They cover many science disciplines. For those who don’t speak Spanish, you can still visit and enjoy. There are a limited number of English speaking staff but you will lose the ability to experience the cool science experiences.
One of the best museums for kids I have been. My son love it! The staff was very friendly and accomodating. It gets a bit crowed some times, so keep an eye on your kids!
