Pay a short visit to Museo Mural Diego Rivera, a small gallery built to house Diego Rivera's iconic 1947 mural, "Dream of a Sunday Afternoon in Alameda Central." The work survived the earthquake in Hotel del Prado, and was subsequently transported to the museum. Admire the massive artwork and identify the many notable Mexicans it portrays, including Porfirio Diaz, Benito Juarez, Hernan Cortes, and Rivera's own wife, Frida Kahlo. Besides the mural, the museum also hosts temporary exhibits by local artists. • This museum is very small. But a wonderful piece of history. The mural has all the important figures of Mexican history in one image. You can see in English and in Spanish an explanation of who each individual in the photo represents and a little bit of their personal history. This is the only item in this museum. Entrance is very inexpensive under $3. Easy to get to and a quick 30-minute explore
  • Excellent. Check the representations on the mural. You can do it by google. Don't hire any tourist guide. They go for your money charging two or 3 times the real cost if anything. Use the turibus only. Cheap and very convenient.
