  • Going downtown is always complicated, the streets are full of people, vendors and people trying to do business, sales etc. It is very safe to go in a nice car that picks you up at your hotel, leaves you at the door of the place and the guide comes down with you to explain not only the paintings, but ALL the cultural stensile in Mexico and the whole world of the 50's. Background such as Art Deco, art Nuveau, artists in Europe friends with the Kahlo-Rivera couple and a brief summary of the history of this rich country, always attentive to my questions and with excellent sense of humor. It was unforgettable, I will go back to Stepping Mexico to go to the houses of Barragán, the Castle and the museum of Anthropology because the comfort of taking a tour with someone who leaves you at the door and then I pick you up help ed nes , get fresh to the hotel for a luxurious meal and enjoy it a lot. So if they make the trips!. The driver of a taxi or an Uber DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING about the culture of every point I visit with my guide... I take myself to two other places to see more murals of Diego (San Hildefonso and National Palace). I learned a lot without getting tired... walk a mile. I would have walked 3 on my own, I would have tired, sweated and lost my lunch activity, mariachis party, etc. Very balanced the day with Stepping Mexico Thank you, I will return with you.
