It was inaugurated in 1945 with the filming of the film La Morena de mi Copla, by Fernando Rivero. Since then Churubusco Studios developed Mexican cinema and were incorporating in each era the state-of-the-art technology. It currently maintains production and post-production. They do dubbing, sound effects, large-scale recordings... Etc. You will be able to see historical pieces of cinema (cameras, printers... ) If you call and concert visit they will explain it. I saw it with some students (future filmmakers) and it was extremely interesting.

Beautiful place! We went today for the euro jazz festival and it was great! The building is modern, the washrooms are clean, they have a cafeteria and other little stands selling food and souvenirs. They have many events going on and for many of them the entrance is free! I highly recommend coming here!
An interesting architectural complex under a contemporary style dedicated to arts: Music festivals at it's open air forums, concerts halls with good acustic, dance theaters, arts school (music, dance, plastic art and cinema) also 2 galleries for temporal exhibitions, a cafeteria and stores wich sells dancing clothing and art materials. Fantastic to go alone and chill out in the gardens or going with family to enjoy the events, or going to watch a movie, 'cause in the bottom there's a cinema.
