  • One of the chapels founded by Hernán Cortez. More in family chapel Wave. His remains were there for a while. Next To him is the oldest house in town. The facade is Churriguerezca

  • The other day I went to the la Merced area to buy some naturopathic medicines, since there are many of these shops, at very cheap prices in the San Simon. Once there I di notice that is a neighborhood where there is prostitution full day, walked to ring and decided to go to a small temple which had already heard about, located on the street of Manzanares, I was three blocks. Upon arrival I was impressed never had been in a small temple, and also was in the middle of mass, so I decided to go and hear the mass. Inside there is only 6 seats, so sitting holds only 18 people, two nuns with their habit, perhaps Carmelite, they accompanied the mass with their cute songs, stops up to ahead of the crowd, the small temple was full of simple people, who prayed together with the father all the prayers of the ceremony, the truly impressive altarpiece, Baroque, perfectly-kept, very nice facade, with quarry and perfectly painted. I really loved to see this tiny Temple, say that it is the smallest of the city, and was originally commissioned by Hernán Cortés along with other 6 temples, hermitages, which were demolished, only resisted and is in perfect condition thanks to the inhabitants of this area, indigenous, that protected him. A lot worth knowing this beautiful temple.
