This temple is located in a space surrounded by public roads, in what was known as: "San Juan de Letrán" (Actual axis Central Lázaro Cárdenas). Built using quarry and Tezontle, classical materials from this period in the city of Mexico, is of modest proportions and boasts a bell tower that barely protrudes from the facade. The figures of the Sun and the Moon, flank the entrance both sculpted in stone and well preserved. At the center of the entrance gate (to whose sides looks detached and fluted columns) stands a small sculpture of an Archangel as the willing guardian, devoid of some elements and with wings fractured because of the passage of time and the lack of restoration. On the inside looks like a painting of considerable dimensions on the wall of the main altar, where at the Center in a niche is the Virgin of the conception. There are two portals carved in stone, one on each side that look beautiful. Various characters of the Catholic worldview are distributed on each side of the walls: San Antonio, La Vírgen María, the sacred heart of Jesus; As well as a Crystal urn with the representation of the divine master in the "Holy Sepulchre". A plate fitted on the right side of the entry illustrates: "Chapel of la Inmaculada Concepción of the waterfall, built in the 18th century belonged to the confraternity of the Immaculate Conception. "Merging the water jump Avenue extension in 1935 was isolated". Useful information:-the water jump Metro station is just a couple of blocks. -A Replica of the source of the water jump is located right in front. Enjoy the city of Mexico. LIFE... it's a trip!View original -

One of the only 2 places in the city were you can attend the traditional Latin mass (as far I was able to find) I'm writing this review on Jan 2018 and this congregation is incredibly lucky to have Father Friar, a most pious and inspiring priest!

March 2018. One of few places in town to find the Traditional Latin Mass. The pastor speaks English and there are always confessions before. There is public parking below the kids' park one block to the north on the east side of the road.
