  • On the way there everything was absolutely normal. We stopped by for a tasting of mezcal and tequila, looked at the pyramids, had lunch and drove back. After a while, we realized that something was wrong. Our bus wagged from side to side, went to the oncoming lane. We asked to stay, but the guide said that everything is fine. As a result, when we stopped on the side of the road, it became clear that the driver can not stand on his feet. We never sent another driver. Some Europeans panicked and left on uber. Our guide got behind the wheel. We had to go to the basilica. But now at least get back to the hotel.

  • We Had Marco as a guide. We hired Them with the idea of visiting the pyramids and the Basilica of Guadalupe. We Buacaron at 9 AM and finished to the 18HS, a total of 9 hours where what really took advantage of the tour were 3 hours (exaggerating) in both places. The rest I felt on a shopping tour. Something I didn't hire. The first one was in a gift shop with the excuse of tasting tequila and mezcal. They Don't explain ANYTHING about the process or where it comes from, they just want you to buy. Once we got to the ruins the guide, before starting the tour, recommended that we buy hats. In the middle of the tour he returned to recommend buying gifts. He Explained little and nothing of the place, much less of its history and its essence. It Did Not convey to us absolutely anything of the true sense of the place. You Could tell he didn't know much and he didn't like to get questions. Then they take you to a mega Tourist restaurant where if you do not take food you are forced to eat there and but wait two hours for the rest of the people to eat and see a miriachis show that only seek tips. When we finally got to the Basilica of Guadalupe, the first thing he did was take us to the gift shop, and then give an empty explanation of 15 minutes in the place and finish the tour. Nor did he give any information of the author of the painting of the Virgin, a fact that in my opinion, is BASIC. It was noted that the only thing I was looking for was commissioning at each stop, something common in the field of tourism, but this was definitely an excess. The hat was completely necessary to walk through the pyramids, because these several hours walking under the ray of the sun of midday, but they would have to have recommended that before the exit of the tour, to anticipate the expense or to carry one own. The same with the food, the restaurant was expensive. It Was A little wasted day, what could have been done in half a day, we did in a whole day (we arrived at the hotel to the 19HS) and more, because the Basilica deserves to return, added to that Mexico City has countless places to know and that time could have SID or completely exploited. A shame, the worst tuor I've ever done.
