more »
An arched one-story aqueduct. It seemed to be going on. We visited early in the morning for a tour, but there were no tourists except our group. The janitor was willing to say hello to me. Cactus bloomed around and it was a peaceful scenery together with the European aqueduct.View original -

When you visit the archaeological site of Teotihuacan is almost obliged to do so to the father Tembleque aqueduct. Standing on pyramids motorway kilometres before arriving at Teotihuacan this deviation in the highway section Ecatepec de Morelos - Tulancingo continues on the highway and passes the junction with motorway Arco Norte. Only few minutes this exit towards Santiago Tepeyahualco, being at this point you can see the Majesty of the aqueduct on the horizon and so guided by the series of 68 arches that reach a height of up to almost 38 m and extending up to 904 m long. El Papalote river crosses the aqueduct just by half and its point more high and is bordered by the railroad tracks. This work was planned and directed by friar Francisco de Tembleque hails from Toledo, Spain. The work was considered the work of hydraulic engineering more important built during the Viceroyalty of the new Spain in Latin America. On July 5, 2015 UNESCO included in your great list of cultural heritages to the aqueduct. Recommendations for the site: if it is possible to arrive at good time in the morning so you can avoid the Sun since the site does not have infrastructure for tourism. Bring water to drink, Cap, sunscreen, comfortable attire and especially your camera. After enjoying the vastness of the aqueduct, was the perfect picture of the perfection of the work memory architecture. No more to say, I say goodbye to you hoping will enjoy this small review. If I was like thank you your support. Remember that they may seek more and know more of Mexico in my web paguna or different social networks, just look for worm by mexico... Greetings and thanks for reading.View original
