Biljett köps ombord när man kliver på och gäller ... more »The ferry to nolsoy goes from Torshavn. It goes from the dock to the right of the terminal building. Car can be parked to the right of the Terminal, 8 hourly parking. Tickets purchased on board when you step on and apply to return. On nolsoy are business and some cafes. A small sleepy village. To the right as you come off the ferry to get to the hiking trail that goes to the lighthouse. Follow the road past some old building foundations and up to the pump house. From the pump casing follow the voice selection. The path goes steeply uphill but is then quite flat all the way to the lighthouse. It was a pretty boring hike that took an hour and a half each way. The lighthouse was not good as I thought. When you come up with is the right of the houses. The walk is at times quite soggy so waterproof shoes are needed. It is an easy walk but it was not the nicest on the island. Down in the village, we had coffee at a small café on the street at the election Ben's port. Cosy and there were both coffee and lunch
There are 6 ferries a day from Tórshavn (7 on Wednesdays and Fridays, 5 on weekends), the trips take about 20 minutes and there is a cafe on board, with heated internal seating and very blustery outdo... more »
