One of the Wonders of the Ancient World, Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) represents the largest and oldest of the three main pyramids at Giza. Construction on the pyramid began around 2580 BCE and lasted for around 20 years, with the structure probably intended to serve as the tomb of the pharaoh Khufu. Originally 146.5 m (480.6 ft) high, it stood as the tallest structure made by man for around 3,800 years, and its influence on art, architecture, and design has been incalculable. Tours of the pyramid include visits to the Queen's Chamber, the King's Chamber, and the Grand Gallery. With the interior very hot and cramped, many visitors choose to admire the pyramid from the outside. Inspirock's itinerary builder makes planning a Giza trip simple and quick.

It was amazing seeing those wonders in real life, although we couldn't go inside the piramids we enjoyed the whole trip. The one downside is the constant people trying to get every penny out of you while your there, you have to be careful what you do and who you speak to as they will try to charge you even for taking a photo for you! At the end it started to be very annoying but ignoring them works fine. Will definitly try to visit again when the entry to the pyramids is reopened.
Last standing ancient wonder of the world. Breathtaking sight!
