Aquanautas, San Andres

4.1
Take a walk along the ocean floor with Aquanautas, a great option for travelers who might not know how to swim. You'll start your experience by listening to safety precautions and an explanation of how the equipment works. The company will then take you to the dive spot, where you can walk around on the ocean floor without ever having to hold your breath. See fish and underwater statues up close. The company does not allow you to take your own photos, but you can take underwater cameras to have photos taken of you by the guides. Put Aquanautas into our San Andres Island sightseeing planning site and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • If you go to San Andrés, don't miss!!!! I was in high hopes but it was still overcome. Incidentally gave a fear and an anxiety but then everything is so wonderful, quiet and impressive that only leaves to enjoy. I was very excited to see the fish and other sea animals between the immensity of the ocean. Is it expensive? Yes! But it's worth every penny. Super friendly staff and the professionals who make the dive are of an immense sympathy and empathy. They saw that I was afraid and they encouraged me in a very nice way. Recommend!!!!

  • Without the proper instructions from the seller, we arrived to the place and under the sea my wife almost fainted. We asked the seller if we can eat before the activity and they told us that it’s fine...  more »

  • Pretty cool experience where you "walk under the sea" using a pressurised helmet. Staff is professional and looks pretty safe. Bummer that they don't allow cameras in and sell their own photos made with a low-resolution GoPro Hero4 (super outdated, could be a newer one for the price they charge).
  • Great experience open to anyone fit enough to climb down a ladder. No prior knowledge needed. Staff speak ES, EN and PT
