Trip Planner: South America / Colombia / Bolivar Department / Cartagena District / Isla Baru / Playa Blanca
Sun, snorkel, or simply relax at Playa Blanca, where turquoise waters, soft white sand, and lush coastal foliage attract scores of tourists and day-trippers. Kick back at one of the local beach bars with a bite to eat or a drink; alternatively, try buying some fresh oysters from the vendors who frequent the sandy stretch. Afterwards, grab your snorkeling gear and explore the underwater environment of coral and fish. However, be sure to keep an eye out for the jellyfish that frequent the area. Playa Blanca Reviews
A demas de ser estrecha, esta llena de vendedores pesados, motos de agua y todo tipo de embarcaciones que contaminan. more »In addition to being narrow, it's full of heavy sellers, jet skis and all kinds of polluting boats.

With the first point, the worst attention and treatment towards the tourist in Colombia is in Cartagena and its surroundings (with some insignificant exceptions, generalizing would be wrong). On 95% of occasions there is economic abuse or the repetitive of bad (what is expected, that pays, I touch you, etc.). Now the aesthetic and infrastructure conditions. The level of garbage that is stored behind the buildings is absurd. The swamp that's nearby with scraps of garbage. Hostels improved compared to February 2018, prices dropped a bit in hostels. The cleanliness of the front of the hostels improved, the toilet of the restaurants improved a lot but they still lack better hygiene. Lack of electrical energy affects the quality of products that require cold for preservation, I do not recommend buying these foods. In conclusion, I recommend Tintipan, mucura and others around St. Bernard Islands.
