Trip Planner: South America / Colombia / Bolivar Department / Cartagena District / Cartagena / Oceanario
Meet the native marine animals of the Caribbean at Oceanario. Take a boat trip to the small island and see the animals in their fenced enclosures situated within open ocean water. You can observe the feeding of the sharks or swim with dolphins. At the salt water aquarium, you can see all kinds of colorful fish, as well as different species of sharks, sea turtles, and other marine life. A couple of times a day the staff puts on a show with the dolphins and tiger sharks to demonstrate their training. The oceanarium is all well maintained... Dioramas... Gardens... Bathrooms... Well-set places. In addition, the show with dolphins and the show with the sharks are of high level. The only thing I found very expensive is the photo with the kiss to the dolphin... In the boat one is told that if one does not get the picture with the dolphin must be paid again and this is a lie. If for some reason you can't take the photo with the dolphin, you'll get the money back. In addition, entering here is optional is the tour... but if you got this far h for saving a few pesos you don't come in... one of the must-sees on the rosary islands is lost. Everything is nice... from the entrance... until the exit.
